The rain stayed away just long enough for our Mum’s to flick off their shoes, sip some Bellini Champagne and have fun barefoot bowling.

The MCC Kew Bowling Club was the perfect setting for the afternoon not to mention the food was delicious!

Barefoot bowling was a lot of fun and it was clear where our sharks players get their competitive streak from! There was plenty of smiles, plenty of laughs and plenty of banter!!

Liam Foldi, 15 year old Sharks boy, left us all in awe of the great work he is doing with the Chin Refugee Community to help fund projects in Australia, Kenya, Sri Lanka, Papua New Guinea and Myanmar.  Together they produce the most beautiful candles.  We were pleased to come on board and support this young lad and allow all profits to go back to his cause.  With 59 candles sold – I think the Sharks Mums have certainly made a difference! Well done Liam! If you’re keen to purchase more candles or have Liam attend an event at your business, school or sporting club, please head to their website www.kenshicandles.com.

A big thank you to two of our Mum’s that made the event happen and look beautiful – Katie Ferguson and Rachael Little.  Katie Ferguson has worked hard with the marketing campaign and corresponding with MCC Kew – thank you Katie.  And Rachael Little who put together the most stunning big and little floral arrangements for our tables. And she donated a gorgeous piece of her own art for the raffle.  Thank you Rachael.
